Fire Prevention Awards

Fire Prevention Week is held every October to make the public aware of the importance of fire prevention and emergency planning. An important component of the Fire Prevention Week event in Alberta is the partnership between the Alberta FCO and the AWNA. Using material provided by the FCO, AWNA members are encouraged to put together special Fire Prevention Week section to spread the message of fire prevention in their communities.

Congratulations to the winners and to all AWNA newspapers that entered the contest. We appreciate your support of Fire Prevention Week.
